Combustion of coals, fluidized-bed combustion: Types of fluidization, what is fluidized bed combustor, types of fluidized bed furnaces, emission control. Coking of coal: Defination of coke and coking, properties of metallurgical coke, effect of coal properties on coke. Briquetting of coal: Defination of coal briquetting, important factors on coal briquetting, types of coal briquetting, types and size of briquettes, cost of briquetting. Pyrolysis of coal: Experimental methods for coal pyrolysis, effects on reaction parameters on pyrolysis, coal pyrolysis processes. Coal liquefaction: Chemisty of coal liquefaction, product of coal liquefaction, coal liquefaction processes. Gasification of coals: chemisty of coal gasification, product of coal gasification, coal gasification processes. Coal utilization: Coal utilization in energy genaration, coal utilization in ındustry, coal utilization in heating. |
