The aim of the course:
The objective of the module is to develop the competence of the students to identify and investigate a research topic, and present the findings orally or within a written form as a technical report or a scientefic paper, and to induce awareness of science and research ethics.

Contents of the Course
Introduction: Fundamental concepts. Stages of a scientific research: Selection of research topic, literature review, determination of research methods, collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data. Data reliability and statistical analysis. Presentation of findings. Citation of references. Writing paper, thesis and technical report and oral presentation. Science and research ethics. Practicals and case studies.
