Introduction to modern biotechnology; Growth of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and fermentation industries; Bioproducts and biofuels; Microbial fermentation; Aerobic biofermentation; Enzymes and enzyme kinetics; Metabolic pathways; Genomes and genetic engineering; Metabolic engineering
