The aim of the course:
Provide students with first aid medical care training to meet STCW78/95 requirements

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : can apply first aid to survivors4,6,7,111,

Contents of the Course
In case of an accident or illness on the ship, immediate first aid, providing medical care to the sick and injured during their stay on the ship, medical assistance by radio, transportation of the sick or injured, including evacuation by helicopter, taking care of sick seafarers, including cooperation with port health authorities or patient reception areas in the port, communication with telehealth, health and safety measures in transporting chemical toxic substances, information about the structure of the human body, ability to use the first aid guide on ships, sterilization, first aid practices in falls and accidents, patient transport techniques, travel health, seafarers health examination and porter control
