The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to understand how transgenic plants are specially designed to work well under harsh environments with bioengineering approaches. With highly sophisticated techniques, it is able to question the secrets of plant life cycle and to identify genes that are involved in germination, growth, seed formation and other processes.

Programme OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : learn the metabolic organization in plants.2,3,4,81
PO - 2 : learn transgenic plant design2,3,4,81
PO - 3 : understand that known technologies can warn against different viruses.2,3,4,81
PO - 4 : determine the importance of immunogen and antibody production for vaccination studies.2,3,4,81
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), PO : Learning Outcome
