The aim of the course:
Aimed to teach basics of the gastrointestinal system

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Gain grounding information on the role of gastrointestinal system in terms of contribution to the homeostazis (water, electrolytes, carbohydrates and proteins)1,2,31,2,3
PO - 2 : Knows the motlity and secretion functions of the gastrointestinal system1,2,31,2,3
PO - 3 : Knows the mechanism of gastric acid secretion with regard to the base for paharmacotherapy1,2,31,2,3
PO - 4 : Knows the roles of liver and bile in digestion1,2,31,2,3
PO - 5 : gain grounding knowledge on the "enteric nervous system" and "enteric-endocrine" system.1,2,31,2,3
