The aim of the course:
In this course, it is aimed to inform the student about the formation of employment, unemployment and wage sizes in the economy in general and its sub-sectors, analysis of the equilibrium condition in the employment sector, discrimination in the labor market, determination of wage differences and labor mobility, and to enable them to analyze these issues theoretically and empirically.

Contents of the Course
Labor market participation rate, theoretical and statistical analysis of employment and unemployment rates, theoretical and empirical analysis of labor demand and labor supply, theoretical and econometric analysis of wage models, consideration of labor mobility and migration, the effects of union activities in labor markets on wages and employment rates. analyzing the effects theoretically and econometrically and determining possible wage discrimination econometrically.
