ME4024 | Geometric Tolerancing and Applications | 3+0+0 | ECTS:6 | Year / Semester | Spring Semester | Level of Course | First Cycle | Status | Elective | Department | DEPARTMENT of MECHANICAL ENGINEERING | Prerequisites and co-requisites | None | Mode of Delivery | Face to face | Contact Hours | 14 weeks - 3 hours of lectures per week | Lecturer | Prof. Dr. Olkan ÇUVALCI | Co-Lecturer | No | Language of instruction | | Professional practise ( internship ) | None | | The aim of the course: | Knowing geometric tolerancing methods is very important tool for mechanical engineers. İn global economy every industrialized countries are selling machined parts to other countries. İt is very important to know that parts are should fit its position without any problem. İf engineers are not using geometric Tolerancing for their parts technical drawings then, there is always possibility that parts will not fit its position properly. İf engineers want each one of their manufactured parts are fit the position well, then they need to use geometric toleranscing for their technical drawings. İn thıs class students will learn how they can use geometric Tolerancing for their technical drawings. In this way students will have awareness. |
