The aim of the course:
It is aimed to teach the concepts of indoor air-conditioning and heating energy efficiency, to teach the regulations of HVAC and to gain the system design ability.

Contents of the Course
Introduction; thermal confort, classification, basics of heating system design Heat and vapor transfer through building elements Thermai insulation rules in buildings, TS825 standard, control of condensation , sample problems Calculation of heating load in buildings; TS2164 standard, sample problems Heaters; pipe heaters, convectors, radiators, radiant heaters Pipe diameter calculation in heating systems; natural circulation systems, pumping heating systems, sample problems Calculation and selection of boiler and other elements Ventilating; general, duct design, sample problems Air conditioning; basics, psychrometric chart, psychrometric process, sample problems
