The aim of the course:
In order to study basic human movements, it is aimed to obtain information about the biomechanical properties of the bone, joint and musculoskeletal system by using engineering principles and to develop an interdisciplinary working skill.

Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : have a basic understanding of the function of the musculoskeletal system1,31,6,
LO - 2 : apply principles of mechanics to analyse/evaluate fundamental human movements biomechanicaly 1,31,6,
LO - 3 : enhance individual movement skills with better understanding of the human movements1,31,6,
LO - 4 : gain the ability to develop new designs (ideas) for prostheses and implants by having knowledge about the biomechanical analysis of fundamental human movements1,31,6,
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), LO : Learning Outcome
