The aim of the course:
The objective of the course is to cover both hardware and software aspects of mechatronics systems including basic analog and digital electronics, PIC series microprocessors, PIC programming, and microprocessor interfacing to electromechanical systems, C programming and control. This course provides basic knowledge about sensors and actuators. Mechatronic components with emphasize on widely used sensor and actuator types will be studied and laboratory experiments will be performed.

Concept of mechatronics - key elements of mechatronic systems Sensors and actuators - performance of commonly used sensors and actuators PIC 16F84A, 16F628A and 16F877A series microprocessors Explain the operation of the fundamental elements of microprocessor systems. Installation the compiled program to microprocessors Hands-on experience of button, LED and DC motor applications with microcontroller in C language. Evaluation of sensors used in measurement of various applications Integrate electronics, informatics and communications technology into the design of mechatronic systems
