The aim of the course:
Examining how to use the psychology and social psychology data in news and advertisement and visual and printed media, discussing the psycological reflections of interaction between media and psychology and media on individuals.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
This course includes the relationship between media and psychological applications, differences and similarities of this relationship in Turkey and in the world, the role of psychology in informing media, media ethics, negative impacts of TV, radio and cinema on children and adolescents, positive impacts of TV, radio and cinema on children and adolescents. Media aesthetics and psychology, analysis of media aesthetics and its effects on individuals, media and violence, responsibility of media towards children
