The loss of biodiversity is perceived as a global problem and is being tackled by international rules. Especially, considering the nutritional needs of the world's population, genetic resources of vegetal origin have great importance for food and agriculture. Interpretation of these properties and their geographical point of view are among the main objectives of the course. |
