The aim of the course:
Aim of this course is to provide a broad overview of our current understanding of particle physics and gather all the basic knowledge and tools that are necessary to understand the properties and interactions of the fundamental particles in the framework of Standard Model.

The Standard Model of particle physics, Decay rates and cross sections, The Dirac equation, Interaction by particle exchange, Electron-positron annihilation, Electron-proton elastic scattering, Symmetries and the quark model, The weak interaction, The weak interactions of leptons, Neutrinos and neutrino oscillations, Neutrino-electron scattering, CP violation and weak hadronic interactions, Electroweak unification, The Higgs boson, The Standard Model and beyond.
