The aim of the course:
It'is aimed that the ship production processes will be expounded and modeled with a simulation software. And also, it will be taught to evaluate the simulation results.

Contents of the Course
Introduction, concept of work analysis, cycle time in ship production, flow charts, general workshop arrangement in ship building, functional layout in shipbuilding, group technology application in shipbuilding, definition of queue theory, definition of simulation software used in ship production, modules of simulation analysis and scenario analysis concept in simulation, definition of sub modules in simulation and failure scenarious, modeling of stiffener cutting work station with simulation ad scenario analysis, modeling of nest cutting work station with simulation ad scenario analysis, simulation modeling of pre fabrication work station, simulation modeling of jig station, modeling of panel line utilized in ship manufacture with simulation environment.
