The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to make approximate power estimation for different hulls and to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the methods.

Contents of the Course
Power estimation using equivalent or geometrically similar vessels, power estimation using statistical diagrams, power estimation using approximate formulas, power estimation by statistical analysis of systematic resistance research, power estimation using model experiments, power estimation using methods derived from systematic model experiments, advantages and disadvantages of methods.
