The aim of the course:
This course aims to provide graduate students to the general knowledge on research methods of plant sociology and the selection of the most suitable one for different vegetation types.

Contents of the Course
Introduction to Plant Sociology, history and the methods of Plant sociology. Braun-Blanquet approach and the vegetation classification according to this method; determining the study sites, floristic list, minimal area etc. Determining characteristic and differential species and syntaxonomic categories together with plant associations.
