The aim of the course:
To teach Gymnospermae and Angiospermae wood elements and wood structures. Ecological factors and their effects on wood elements.

Contents of the Course
Anatomical features (vessel, fiber, tracheid lenght, number of vessel per mm2, rays and number of rays per mm. ) Ecological factors (climate, altitude, latitude, longitude etc. ) , life forms of woody taxa (tree, small tree, shrub, shrublet) and vegetation types (forest, hygrophylous, subalpine and alpine, stepe, dune) and their effects in wood traits, mesomorphy, vulnerability.
