The aim of the course:
This course aims to expose graduate students to the ecosystem based multiple use forest management planning concept focusing on the balance between production of goods and services.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Sustainable forest management, social, economic and ecological forest values, and their quantification, indicators of biodiversity, focal species and habitats, spatial planninig, and integration of operaitonal resaerch techniques into forest resource management planning model.
