The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge on afforestation problems of special areas, to teach them to determine all necessary process which provides success at afforesting of special areas and to take measures.

Contents of the Course
Arid zone afforestations (general concepts, required characteristics of the species to be used, planting technique, terrace shapes). The principles of afforestation of karst regions (revival cuts, features sought in afforestation and the species to be used). Establishment of protective forest strips and the species to be used and the features sought in these species. Dune afforestation (species to be used, characteristics sought in species, temporary and permanent stabilization). Green belt afforestation (importance, planting technique and required properties in the species to be used).
