Mapping of spatial distribution of plant and animal source non wood forest products species

Contents of the Course
The importance of determining spatial distribution areas in Non Wood Forest Products, The importance of determining spatial distribution though Ecosystem Based Multiple Use Planning approach, Using of inventory cards for spatial distribution of Non Wood Forest Products, Creating of database in Geographical Information System, Using of some statistical modelling technics such as logistic regression analysis, discriminant analysis and classification tree for determining spatial distribution of NWFP, creating of spatial distribution maps using some function of GIS such as Kriging methods, Thiessen polygon and Query.
