The aim of the course:
To enable students to understand the physical structure, properties and process in Soil

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : summarize the mechanical properties of the soil and its water, heat and air content.1,3,6,111, 4
PO - 2 : Students will be able to understand that physical components of the soil are important considerations for construction (soil at the site), water supply and distribution (storage of precipitation and ground water), environmental protection (filtering) as well as in other spheres that take place on the soil interface.1,3,6,111, 4

Soil physical composition and its texturel parts, Clay minerals and its structures, Soil structure and consistance, soil water and soil-water relations, soil air, soil temperature, soil color, soil organic matter, Soil function as a filter, Soil as a plant growing medium
