The aim of the course:
To elucidate classification criteria by performing detailed silvicultural analysis of old-growth forests.

Contents of the Course
Basic concepts, definition of old-growth forest, main criteria of old-growth forest, sub criteria of old-growth forest, definition of natural life stages, determination of old-growth forest stages, classification criteria, potential old-growth forest areas in Turkey forests, silvicultural evaluation of applications, silvicultural results and recommendations.
