The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge of plant tissue culture biotechnological method in plant production and tree breeding studying.

Contents of the Course
Historical notes, tissue culture methods: anther culture, protoplast culture, callus culture, meristem culture, plant cell culture, embriyo culture. Applications area of plant tissue culture: production of virus-free plants, preservation of tissue culture, breeding, rapid propagation.
