The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge of germination in different forest tree species, enable them to understand the methods in order to stimulate the germination.

Seed formation and frame, plant hormones and seed development, seed germination, germination types, formation reasons of low germination capacity, germination conditions, prevention of low germination capacity, cold stratification, hot stratification, chemical treatments, mechanical treatments, germination tests
