The aim of the course:
Importance of geophysical engineering methods used the upper structure researches and its practices is emphasize. To determine of quality of engineering structures with non-destructive techniques.

Contents of the Course
To reveal internal structure of elements of construction. The non-destructive measurement methods in used Geophysics (Ground penetrating radar (GPR), ultrasonic, electrical resistivity and micro seismic) and its applications. Determination of location of reinforcing bars in concrete with GPR method. Estimation of corrosion with electrical resistivity method. Reveal the quality of the concrete by the help of Ultrasonic and micro-seismic Determination of the effect of earthquake on engineering structures. Examination of case studies such as buildings, bridge, historical buildings by using geophysical methods.
