The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with filter techniques about main subjects of seismic records, to help them use their knowledge to digital anti-alias filter parameters and use to simple and inverse filtering of wavelet parameters from the earthquake records. , to teach them how to design of linear filter.

Programme OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : summarise the general knowledge on main subject of filter techniques.1,21
PO - 2 : describe the digital anti-alias filter parameters using to the analysis of seismic data.2,31,4
PO - 3 : apply simple and inverse filtering of wavelet parameters from earthquakes records.41,3
PO - 4 : evaluate the results of linear filter to define seismic data.4,81,3,4
PO - 5 : present before an audience the results and outcome of any exercise1,83,4,6
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), PO : Learning Outcome
