Waste concept, liquid, solid, hazardous and recyclable wastes. Solid waste types according to their sources. Legal rules and responsibilities in solid waste management in Turkey. Solid waste disposal management, integrated systems, alternative methods for recovery and disposal. Landfill site selection, site preparation and remediation, landfill closure, operation and maintenance. Hazardous wastes, transportation and disposal methods, hazardous waste management plan and responsibilities. Recyclable wastes, importance of recycling and recycling methods. |
