The aim of the course:
To teach counting methods of different bird groups such as water birds, predators and songbirds.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Selecting appropriate technique for species, Bird watching and counting, data analysis, error sources, conducting domination field maps, transect counts, Remote counts, Point counting, marking and releasing techniques, investigation of the colony biology, distribution pattern detection, identification and quantification of bird habitats.
