The organization of Data. Data displays and pictorial representations. Distance measure methods. Random vectors and matrices. Mean vector, covariance matrices, random samples and expected values of the sample mean and covariance matrix. Sample mean, covariance and correlation as matrix operations. The multivariate normal density and its properties. Detecting outliers and cleaning data. Linear regression. Principal componen analysis algorithm. Factor analysis algorithm. Canonical correlation algorithm. EM algorithm. Linear discriminant analysis algorithm.
