The aim of the course:
the objective of this course is to provide graduate students with working knowledge of dynamics events in materials. it presents theory, experimentation, and application in a balanced way. It contains example problems about high strain rate deformation (primarily elastic, plastic shock and detonation waves) to the dynamic response of materials (constitutive and materials, dynamic fracture).

Programme OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), PO : Learning Outcome
