The aim of the course:
to deal with the measurement systems of especially experimental test mechanisms and to determine the measurement parameters necessary to achieve the objective measurement data and gain the knowledge of the suitable constructions.

Contents of the Course
Basic concepts of measurement. Sensor types and working principles. Measurement of friction, pressure, oil film thickness and friction coefficient in static loaded hydrodynamic plain bearings. Measurement of Piezoresistive applications in dynamically loaded journal bearings. Pressure measurement methods in elasto hydrodynamic contact. Measurement of velocity, acceleration, frictional force and friction coefficient in the cam mechanisms.
