The aim of the course:
The aim of the pharmacology course is to provide information about drugs and their uses.
 
Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Explain the concepts of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.31,
LO - 2 : Explain the administration methods of drugs and the undesirable toxic effects that may occur in the organism after the drug is administered.31,
LO - 3 : Defines the areas of use of chemotherapeutics, the types of drugs used, their mechanisms of action, treatments and important side effects.31,
LO - 4 : Understands medications specific to body systems and analyzes prescription information.31,
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), LO : Learning Outcome
