The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to provide the exact theory of the mechanics of deformable bodies for students of engineering, and to obtain stresses, strains and displacements in solids under external loads.

Introduction, Internal force , Stress, Strain and strain energy, Constitutive equations,Three-dimensional Elasticity, General equations, Two-dimensional elasticity, Plain strain and plane stress problems, Stress functions, Solutions with polynomials, Solution with Fourier series, Method of finite differences and applications, Solutions in polar coordinates and applications, Solutions with complex variables and applications, Solutions with variational methods and applications.
