The aim of the course:
It is aimed to gain theoretical understanding in the general sense about main and auxiliary vocabulary in Russian language.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : The student has general knowledge about Russian language morphology.
LO - 2 : The student reinforces the rules of morphology he learned in the Russian language with practice exercises.
LO - 3 : The student applies the rules of language knowledge he / she has learned in Russian speaking language.
LO - 4 : The student learns the vocabulary of the Russian language and acquires skills in language teaching.
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), LO : Learning Outcome

 
Contents of the Course
Through this course, the explanation and application of basic morphological subjects in Russian grammar are supported with theories and practices.

 Week 3The meaning and formation of real and passive participles. The process of participle in adjectives
 Week 4The general characteristic of the verbal participle. Significance and formation of verbal participles. Kinds. Adverbalization.
 Week 5Types of situations. The difference from adverbs. Adverbs as a part of sentences. Examples of major adverb.
 Week 6Degrees of comparison of adverbs. Formation of simple and complex forms of comparison of adverbs.
 Week 7The transition of adverbs to other parts of speech. Syntactic role.
 Week 8Midterm exam
 Week 9The difference between the words of the status category and the adverbs.
 Week 10General characteristics of the service parts of speech, grammatical features, difference from the significant parts of speech.
 Week 11Prepositions as a service part of speech. Syntactic function of prepositions.
 Week 12Types of prepositions.
 Week 13Transition to prepositions into other parts of speech.
 Week 14Conjunctions and prepositions. Functions of the sentence.
