The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge of industrial plantation, the main processes, aims, methods and application. To give them a perspective to develop the forest industries. The main problems and their solving methods for development of the industrial plantations.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : summarise the general knowledge of industrial plantation and be able explain its relation to the forestry reforestation3,4
LO - 2 : describe the selected tree species for industrial plantations3,4
LO - 3 : apply various techniques in search of industrial plantations3,4
LO - 4 : evaluate the results of industrial plantation and determine areas of potential areas3,4
LO - 5 : present before an audience the results and outcome of any exercise3,4

Contents of the Course
Plants that can be a subject for industrial plantations; silvicultural features of native and introduced plant species. Site preparation and plantation techniques. To selected forest tree species for industrial plantations.
