The aim of the course:
To introduce common weed species to students with their useful / unuseful traits, their distributions and control methods

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : explain the terminology of plant identification and use identification key 1,51,
LO - 2 : identify weedy species of forest 1,51,
LO - 3 : report the distribution of weedy taxa 1,51,
LO - 4 : report wood and non-wood products of weedy taxa and their general usage 1,51,
LO - 5 : explain the control methods 1,51,

Contents of the Course
Identification of weeds, their importance in forestry (fuel-wood, non-wood forest products, etc. ) . Common weed species (Cistaceae, Ericaceae, Leguminosae, Rosaceae, Anacardiaceae etc. ) , Control methods of weeds. Climbing weedy species and their control methods
