The aim of the course:
To teach English technical terms relation to Forest Engineering, to make students read English texts, to make students translate English texts and preparing English presentations.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Students will able to learn English technical terms in relation to forest engineering.7
LO - 2 : Students will able to read and understand English texts having forestry terms. 7
LO - 3 : Students will be able to translate English texts in relation to forest engineering.7
LO - 4 : Students will be able to prepare English texts and presentations in relation to forest engineering. 7

Contents of the Course
Teaching technical terms in relation to forest management, silviculture, ecology, forest transportation, forest protection, forest botany, watershed management and forest economics in the context of forest engineering discipline. Reading and understanding texts including forestry terms. Translating both from Turkish into English and from English to Turkish. English text and presentation preparation including forestry terms.
