The aim of the course:
The main objectives of this course are to provide the student with a clear presentation of the basic concepts and principles of physics.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : apply the concepts of scalars and vectors in problem solving.1,2
LO - 2 : solve problems dealing with force and motion.1,2
LO - 3 : solve problems involving the concepts of energy, work, and power.1,2
LO - 4 : solve problems involving time, distance, velocity, and acceleration in circular paths.1,2
LO - 5 : solve problems dealing with linear momentum, impulse and collisions.
LO - 6 : solve problems dealing with rotational motion.1,2
LO - 7 : solve problems dealing with electric charge, electric field, and electric potential.1,2
LO - 8 : solve problems involving resistance and capacitance in direct current circuits.
