The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to teach basic math techniques. To introduce the math skills necessary to analyze the problems in engineering. Emphasis is placed on the practical usability of mathematics with numerous sample problems.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : integral and apply the integration to some engineering problems and to some applications1,21,

LO - 3 : Know the concepts of matrix and determinant and solve the systems of equations1,21,

Contents of the Course
Indefinite integrals, methods of integral calculations (substitution rule, methods of integration by parts, methods of Partial fractions), Riemann sum, definite integral and properties of the definite integral, Applications of definite integral: calculation of area and volume, Sequences, Infinite series, geometric series, sequence of partial sums, Converges tests for positive term series( ratio test, root tests and p-test), Matrices, Determinants, Systems of lineer equations, Solutions of Systems of lineer equations by reduction to echelon form, Crammer rule
