The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge on vegetative propagation for tree breeding, to enable them to understand best reproduction methods, to help them how to search for new tree breeding criteria

Contents of the Course
The definition and content of tree breeding, Hardy-Weinberg distribution, factors exchanged in gene frequency in a population, seed sources, offspring trials and measurement of heredity degree, tree breeding methods, species and origin experiments, geographic variation in forest trees, protect of gene resources in forest trees, vegetative propagation, genetic structure of a tree population, conservation of genetic sources, genetic variation and resource of genetic variation, natural selection, genetic variety.
