Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

LO - 2 : know the meaning of thought technical terms related to forestry7
LO - 3 : build English sentences, translate and make presentation using forestry technical terms7

Contents of the Course
Academic studies in reading and writing beyond the secondary level. This course is a continuation of YDM 214.

 Week 4Translation of texts about forest management from English to Turkish
 Week 5Introducing technical terms that are widely used in the field of silviculture.
 Week 6Translation of texts related to silviculture (clear-cutting, thinning, regeneration, afforestation, rehabilitation, etc.) from English to Turkish.
 Week 7Introduction of commonly used technical terms in the field of Forest Construction Geodesy and photogrammetry
 Week 8Translation of texts about forest roads and transport from English to Turkish
 Week 9Mid-term exam
 Week 10Introducing technical terms commonly used in forest entomology and conservation.
 Week 11Translation of texts on wildlife and forest protection from English to Turkish
 Week 12Introducing common technical terms in soil science and ecology, watershed management
