to understand the mutual relationships of all ecosystem components

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : learn and evaluate edaphic factors (soil properties), spatial and general locations matter, ecological demands of forest tree, climatic factors, interaction of living and inanimate environment.3,5,11
LO - 2 : handle an afforestation survey, They will make the determine appropriate tree species on site3,5,11
LO - 3 : evaluate the effects and relationships site factors.3,5,11

Contents of the Course
Introduction to forest ecology, climate, forest soil, components of ecosystem, relationship between living and inanimate matter and energy exchanges, site classification, measures to be taken to improve site quality
