Measurement of electrical and magnetic properties of rocks and minerals in the laboratory, origin of self-potentials, calculations of SP anomalies of simple geometrical bodies, origin of telluric currents and magneto telluric fields, equipment, interpretation of telluric and MT field data, EM continuous-wave, transient-field methods, electromagnetic induction, elliptic polarization, magnetic field of low frequency sources, near and far EM fields, interpretational aids in EM prospecting, depth penetration, electrical resistivity methods, layered earth, vertical electrical sounding, VES curves by linear filters, optimization methods, Pekeris Koefoed method of direct interpretation, geological section from VES data, electrical mapping, anisotropic earth, introduction to 2D modelling of field data, origin of the IP effects, time and frequency domain IP methods, magnetic IP method, Ground Probing Radar (GPR) . |
