The aim of the course:
The main purpose of the course is to examine structure, synthesis, function, and action mechanism of hormones

Contents of the Course
Introduction to hormone biochemistry (hormonal amins, peptid, protein, and glycoprotein hormons, steroid hormons, mecanism of hormone action, hormone receptors, organisation of the endocrine system) Hormones of hypothalamus and hypophysisHormones of adrenal glands (hormones of cortex and medulla) Hormones of tyroid gland (structure-activity of tyroid hormones, tyroid hormone synthesis, transport and metabolism of tyroid hormones, biological action of tyroid hormones) Hormones of reproductive system (hormones of testes and ovaries)
