The aim of the course:
This course aims to discuss theories of justice and democracy. To reflect on the concept of democracy and justice, make comparative readings on democracy and justice theories, to discuss the political problems in the framework of these theories.

Contents of the Course
Democracy and justice theories, historical origins of the theory of democracy, justification of democracy, different approaches to the theory of democracy, citizenship and democracy, civil society and democracy, globalization and democracy, the problems and the meaning of justice, democratic equality and justice, social and political justice, justice conception of Marxism and liberalism, justice theories of John Rawls and Robert Nozick.
