The aim of the course:
To understand the formation of the Jochi Nation and the establishment of the Golden Horde Khanate in the Dasht-i Qipchak geography. To identify and make people understand the factors that led to the Golden Horde Khanate becoming a Turkish-Islamic state. To be able to evaluate the relations of the Golden Horde Khanate with its contemporary Turkish-Islamic states with the results of their military, political and cultural interactions and struggles.

Contents of the Course
Genghis Khan's land division and the formation of the Jochi nation will be explained. Batu Khan's campaign in Eastern Europe and the dominance area of the Golden Horde Khanate will be determined. The Turkish-Islamization process of the Khanate will be examined and the influencing factors will be determined. The Khanate's relations with the Turkish-Islamic world will be examined and the results will be evaluated. The role of the Khanate's Silence and its successors in the geography will be determined. The role of the khanates in Ottoman-Russian relations will be determined.
