The aim of the course:
The aim is to define the Ottoman social structure, the basic elements of social and daily life, and to determine the changes and continuities that have emerged over time.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Recognize the elements that make up the social and daily life of the Ottomans 141,
LO - 2 : Evaluate the social and daily life of the Ottomans within the framework of continuity and change.141,

Contents of the Course
Taking into account the social and daily life in the Ottoman Empire, especially the line of change that began to be experienced systematically in the middle of the 19th century, the neighborhood, religious life, working life, education, kitchen, dress, entertainment, socializing places, weddings, festivals, transportation-communication, to consider and evaluate in a holistic way in the center of basic issues such as health.
