While doing this, it is aimed to teach students not only Turkish history but also the education systems of other civilizations and states that lived in the period described. |

| Understanding the basic concepts and principles of Turkish education history, the shaping of educational institutions and processes since the pre-Islamic and post-Islamic periods, the structural functioning of the Ottoman education system and institutions, and the effects of the changes and reforms on the education system and institutions in the process leading to the Republic constitute the content of the course. |
