The aim of the course:
In this course we examine the political and social history of Turkistan from the 6th to the 19th centuries. In this course Turkish empires and other political organizations such as Chingizid (Turko-Mongol Empire) , Timurid and Uzbek Empires and Kazak, Buhara, Hokand, Harezm Khanates and at last the Russian occupy are to be examined chronologically. The events to be offered to the students in the light of the regional and international relations and developments

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : summarize the general characteristics of the states which found in the Turkistan anmd their growth to the Near East1,3
LO - 2 : describe the political organization in the Turkistan, their common aspects, and place in Turkish history1,5
LO - 3 : use their knowledge in their research about the topic1,5,6
LO - 4 : They can evaluate the khanates that emerged after the khanates of Cengizoğulları (Crimea, Kazan, November, Sibir, Astrahan, Hive, Hokand, Bukhara khanates and nogay nation) their role in the Turkic world1,5
LO - 5 : Can determine the role of the khanates in the historical infrastructure of the modern Turkic world1,3,6
